ISTC Conference 2004

The latest news for the ISTC Annual Conference “Expanding Your Horizons” at the Oxford Belfry Hotel, 8-10th October.
Great News, the Society of Indexers will be presenting an Indexing workshop aiming at Technical Communicators who want to brush up their indexing skills. The workshop will be free to conference attendees, but places are limited so make sure you book your place now.
Julian Murfitt will be our keynote speaker. Julian has been involved in the ISTC for many years as well as building and running his successful and International business, Mekon.
Ron Blicq (former INTECOM president) and Alan Fisk (TCEurope secretary and ISTC Vice-President) will be sharing their experiences in novel and play writing.
We ahve a large selection of high quality presentations lined up including subjects such as XML, PDF, Usability, Marketing, Interactive help and so on.

ISTC Conference 2004

The ISTC Conference 2004 is to held at the Oxford Belfry Hotel, Oxford from the 8th to the 10th of October. As usual there will be a display of relevant exhibitors, the presentation of the annual documentation awards, the Horace Hockley award, the usual high standard of presentations and plenty of opportunities to chat to freinds old and new.
This year the theme will be along the lines of ‘Expanding your horizons’ and we are still looking for a few more contributors.
