Features Include:

XML Foundation. MadCap Blaze features a unique patent-pending visual XML editor, fully driven by schemas and cascading style sheets (CSS). However, no knowledge of XML is required in order to use Blaze.

Importing. Bring in documents from products such as Microsoft Word and FrameMaker. Blaze ensures that content and settings such as cross-references, variables, and autonumbering formats are kept intact. There is no need to worry about losing any of your work.

Single Sourcing to Multiple Outputs. Quickly produce output for a single document in a variety of formats, such as: straight to the printer, Microsoft’s new “Metro” format, Adobe PDF, Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word.

Unicode Support Author content in numerous languages, such as French, German, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, and more.

CSS Support. Work smarter by using CSS when formatting content in Blaze. Creating, incorporating, and maintaining CSS files in Blaze is very easy and will save you hours of effort and time.

Conditional Text. Produce multiple versions of your content by using condition tags. For example, you can produce a beginner and advanced version of a manual without having to create two separate documents. Simply use condition tags in one document to indicate which content should be used in which manual.

Layouts. Create linked page layouts, which let you reuse content, graphics, headers, footers, multiple columns and page numbering throughout your documents. If you can dream it, you can probably do it in Blaze.
