Technical Writer – contractor needed – could become permanent

Advanced Bionics has an immediate need for a technical writer for some manuals for a medical device product. We would prefer a contractor initially, but we may consider hiring a permanent employee.

FrameScript 3.2, release 2 is now available for download from http://www.framescript.com. This update is free for all FrameScript 3.x registered users. The update consists of various bug fixes.

Technical Writer – Cleveland, OH area

Hyland Software Inc. seeks motivated, IT professionals to join its industry leading Documentation team. Our documentation specialists write content for on-line help files, user manuals and research product functionality for our OnBase® software. Qualified candidates have excellent writing and editing skills and display exemplary attention to detail. Applicants must possess strong communication skills and work well in a team environment.

Must be able to learn quickly and maintain an understanding of product functionality. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and RoboHelp. Knowledge of Adobe FrameMaker a plus. Bilingual also a plus. Candidates should have a strong desire to excel as a Technical Writer. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Technical Communication, English, or related field required One-year of experience in technical writing or a related field preferred.
