Keyboarder Temp Position NYC

DESKTOP PUBLISHING ASSOCIATE (TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT): World Almanac has opening for a full-time temporary position, July through mid-October. (Must commit to stay through mid-Oct.)

Working in FrameMaker+SGML 5.5.6, involves page layout, input, and formatting for print reference publication, primarily consisting of tables and tables. Salary up to $20/hr, depending on experience.

ISTC Documentation Competition 2004

The ISTC documentation competition 2004 is an opportunity for anyone is the field of Scientific and Technical Communication to show off their hard work and get some recognition for their achievements.
The deadline for submissions is approaching fast. Submissions must be at the ISTC office by the end of July at the latest.

Advance planning for Structured FrameMaker training

We offer local training in Structured FrameMaker only about once a year, so if you are interested in attending a Portland area class this year, mark your calendar for October 4, 5, and 6, 2004.

Authoring Structured Documents with FrameMaker 7 is a three-day course that teaches end users and application developers how to create structured documents from an EDD.
