PDF Conference will be Nov. 10-12, 2003 at the Anaheim Crowne Plaza Hotel in Anaheim, Calif. The final program includes an impressive array of PDF experts from government, enterprise and graphic arts segments.

Adobe executives will be at the event in force to present to PDF Conference attendees. Adobe’s Dov Isaacs, Mike Reilly, Lori DeFurio are just a few of the wide array of experts lined up for the semi-annual PDF Conference themed
“The Best in PDF.” The three-day Conference has something for everybody interested in learning new tips and tricks of the PDF world.

Pre-Show Workshops

PDF Conference sponsors several workshop days prior to the official launch of the event. Beginning November 8, 2003, PDF Conference Producer Carl Young will host the first of four pre-show workshops, titled “Adobe Acrobat 6: Professional Results.”

Also beginning November 8 is Microtype’s Shlomo Perets’ workshop on “FrameMaker to Acrobat Advanced Techniques.” Both of these events are two full days.

Two one-day pre-show workshops will be available on November 9. Industry author Ted Padova will lead “Introduction to PDF Forms” and PDF Scripting’s Bob Anderson will lead “Scripting Acrobat with Visual Basic”.

PDF Conference Kicks-Off, Monday, November 10

The official start of the PDF Conference kicks-off with three general sessions:

*Renowned author Ted Padova will be leading exciting sessions geared towards Acrobat and Multimedia.

*Establishing Best Practice Procedures for PDF is being led by Shlomo
Perets.

*New this year is the “PDF Under Fire” session, being led by Tim Sullivan, CEO of activePDF, and Karl De Abrew, Planet PDF.

Adobe’s Dov Isaacs will lead another must-attend general session titled “Reliable PDF Creation and Publishing Workflows: What’s New in Acrobat 6″, which will cover the all-new publishing aspects of the recently released Adobe Acrobat 6.

Adobe Acrobat 6 Professional, introduced to PDF Conference attendees at the June Conference in Bethesda, Maryland, is expected to be a hot topic at the Anaheim PDF Conference — especially as users will have had a chance to use the product and will have more questions and comments about its use.
