Pittsburgh FUN to meet

The Pittsburgh FrameMaker Users Network (FUN) will meet Tuesday, November 12 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. at Marconi’s North American Headquarters in Warrendale, PA, just north of Pittsburgh.

Alan Houser, an Adobe Certified Expert in FrameMaker 7, will present an overview of FrameMaker 7′s capabilities for enterprise and multi-channel publishing. Learn how
FrameMaker 7 provides:

template-based authoring

compatibility with other authoring applications (such as Microsoft Word)

XML authoring and publishing

single-source publishing, including output to HTML, XML, and PDF.

The Pittsburgh FrameMaker Users Network is an informal group of people who use and want to learn about Adobe FrameMaker and related products for enterprise publishing. The Pittsburgh FUN currently meets quarterly. For announcements and discussion, sign up for the PittFUN email list.
