Executive VP Shantanu Narayen to Deliver Keynote; Company Unveils New Version of Graphics Server
SAN JOSE, Calif. óSeptember 9, 2002 (NASDAQ: ADBE)ó Adobe Systems Incorporated, the leader in network publishing, is exhibiting its full range of network publishing products and solutions this week at Seybold San Francisco held September 10-12, 2002 at Moscone Center.Executive Vice President Shantanu Narayen will deliver a keynote address on Tuesday, September 10, 2002 at noon in the Esplanade Ballroom. Using Adobe’s 20-years of innovation as context, Narayen will illustrate the company’s network publishing vision with real-world examples being implemented today.
Some of the keynote highlights will include sneak peeks of innovative future technologies and a demonstration of AdobeÆ Graphics Server 2.0, the company’s newest version of its graphics and imaging server software (formerly known as AlterCast) announced in a separate release today. Adobe Graphics Server allows businesses to dramatically reduce the time and cost of creating and updating images by automating image production tasks.
Other Adobe activities at Seybold include the opening keynote at the Seybold PDF conference given by Harry Vitelli, senior director of product management for Adobe AcrobatÆ.
Adobe InCopyÆ 2.0, a professional copy editor tightly integrated with Adobe InDesignÆ software, the award winning professional layout and design program, was also selected as a “Hot Pick” for the conference by the editors at Seybold Publications.
